About the project

Display planning built around one practical question.

bricksfit is an independent reference project for people deciding where a large built brick set can live before they build it or buy furniture for it.

What bricksfit does

Retail package dimensions are easy to find but rarely answer whether the completed model fits a shelf. bricksfit keeps package measurements separate from built-model height, width and depth, then provides a rectangular first-pass fit check.

The calculator is a planning aid, not a promise of fit. Doors, shelf pins, movable model parts, viewing angle and measurement tolerances can all reduce usable space.

Editorial approach

Every set page separates its built-size source from its Brickset package record. Where one meaningful fixed build does not exist, bricksfit says so instead of inventing a combined measurement.

Planning estimates are identified in the dimension information tip, and the methodology page explains the complete evidence hierarchy.

Independence and funding

bricksfit is not sponsored, authorized or endorsed by the LEGO Group, Brickset, IKEA or any furniture manufacturer. Product and company names identify the items being compared.
